Actor Ajay Devgn is an actor par excellence. His presence has been there in Bollywoood for past two decades. Through his immense talent, he has established himself as one of the top stars in his own right. Ajay Devgn is known for his intensity, action sequences and his comic timing. He is married to actress Kajol with whom he had dated for some time. Of late, he has started doing dance sequences in the films. 1. He was born as Vishal Veeru Devgan to his parents Veeru Devgn and Veena Devgn. His father is a well known stunt choreographer. His birthplace is New Delhi.
2. After his entry into the Hindi film industry, he changed his surname from Devgan to Devgn on the insistence of his family.
3. He had his school from Silver Beach High School. Later, he did his graduation from Mumbai’s famous Mithibai College.
4. He has a cousin brother Anil who looks like him. Hence, two are often mistaken to be real brothers. Anil is a producer in the film industry.
5. Ajay played a cameo role in this cousin Anil’s film Haal-e-Dil. However, the actor’s real break came when he was given a pivotal role in the film Phool Aur Kaante.
6. He was the first choice for Rakesh Roshan when the actor-turned-producer decided to make the film Karan Arjun. In that film, he was considered for Salman Khan’s role.
7. He made his directorial debut with his future wife Kajol in the film U Me Aur Hum, which did reasonably well at the Box Office.
8. According to a tabloid magazine, the actor was allegedly dating Raveena Tandon. The magazine later reported that he left Raveena for more glamorous Karisma Kapoor when he fell madly in love with her.
9. He was also reportedly linked to Kangna Ranaut as per several media reports. Later some report said that he distanced himself from her after things took ugly turn and people raised eyebrows on them.
10. Ajay met his future wife Kajol on the sets of Hulchul. However, he started dating with her during their film Gunda Raj. They were termed as an unlikely couple due to their contrasting personalities.
